2.4 Admin Fee
An Admin Fee is the platform fee retained by CrownThrive to operate contribution infrastructure (review, verification, compliance, hosting, reporting, and administration).
2.5 Processing Fees
Processing Fees are fees charged by payment processors (example: Stripe, PayPal) and related financial tools.
2.6 Verified Partner
A Verified Partner is an organization or operator preselected and vetted by CrownThrive to receive pass-through funds or to operate an approved corridor.

3.1 CrownThrive Is
CrownThrive is a for-profit ecosystem builder and hybrid incubator operating platforms, programs, and vetted pathways for builders, partners, and community-aligned projects.
3.2 CrownThrive Is Not
CrownThrive is not:
- a nonprofit, charity, or foundation
- a provider of tax-deductible donation receipts
- an equity provider, venture fund, angel syndicate, securities broker, or crowdfunding portal for securities
- an investment adviser, legal adviser, or tax adviser
- a bank, escrow service, or fiduciary (unless explicitly stated in a separate signed agreement)
4. Covered Programs and Platforms
4.1 Covered Programs
This Policy covers contribution features across CrownThrive programs such as:
- ThriveFund (campaign-style contributions)
- CrownThrive Impact Institute (CII) project contributions and impact corridors
- ThriveAlumni contribution-linked initiatives (where enabled)
- any successor contribution program, corridor, portal, or subdomain, even if renamed
4.2 Controlled Scope
This Policy applies only to contributions processed through CrownThrive platforms. CrownThrive is not responsible for funds sent outside CrownThrive platforms.
4.3 Approval Is Required
CrownThrive may approve, reject, pause, remove, or restrict any campaign, project, corridor, or recipient at our sole discretion for risk, compliance, integrity, or brand safety.
5. Contribution Model (Crowdfunding Style, Not Equity)
5.1 Contribution Model Statement
CrownThrive contribution corridors are structured like mainstream contribution platforms in one key way:
- Contributors voluntarily support a purpose or initiative
- Contributors do not receive equity or ownership by default
- Contributors should not expect profit, repayment, dividends, or investment returns
5.2 No Ownership by Default
Contributions do not grant equity, ownership, revenue share, royalties, governance rights, tokens, or any ongoing entitlement.
5.3 No Guaranteed Rewards by Default
Unless a campaign page explicitly offers a disclosed reward and explicitly defines delivery terms, Contributions do not purchase perks, products, services, or guaranteed deliverables.
5.4 No Guarantees
CrownThrive does not guarantee:
- project success or completion
- specific outcomes, financial returns, or business results
- specific environmental impact measurements per individual contribution
6. Admin Fee Cap, Processing Fees, and Disbursement Flow
6.1 Admin Fee Cap
CrownThrive may retain an Admin Fee to operate contribution infrastructure.
The Admin Fee will not exceed 10% of the Contribution amount unless a specific program page discloses a different fee for that specific program.
6.2 Processing Fees
Payment processors may charge Processing Fees. Unless explicitly stated on the contribution page, Processing Fees may apply in addition to the Admin Fee.
6.3 Standard Flow
Typical flow:
- Contributor submits funds through a CrownThrive platform
- CrownThrive retains the Admin Fee (subject to the cap)
- Processing Fees may be deducted by the payment processor
- remaining funds are disbursed to the approved recipient or Verified Partner corridor
6.4 Disbursement Timing, Holds, and Pauses
Disbursement timing may vary due to identity verification, fraud checks, compliance screening, partner verification cycles, legal holds, or platform risk controls.
CrownThrive may delay or pause disbursement if we reasonably believe there is fraud, misrepresentation, misuse, sanctions risk, or policy violations.
6.5 Reporting
CrownThrive may provide dashboards, receipts, or logs where available. Reporting format may change as systems evolve.
7. Verification Standards and Partner Routing
7.1 Verified Partner Pass-Through
Some corridors route funds only to preselected and Verified Partners. CrownThrive may refuse to route funds to unverified recipients.
7.2 Vetting, Replacement, and Continuity
CrownThrive may change Verified Partners for performance, integrity, compliance, or mission alignment.
If a partner becomes ineligible, CrownThrive may:
- pause the corridor
- re-route future contributions to a replacement partner
- convert the corridor into a CrownThrive-managed project where legally permissible
7.3 Campaign and Recipient Verification
CrownThrive may require:
- identity verification
- authority verification
- payout verification
- project legitimacy evidence
- disclosures required by law or processor rules
7.4 Misuse and Non-Performance
If CrownThrive reasonably believes funds are being misused or the project is fraudulent, we may pause disbursements, remove the campaign, ban the recipient, and report violations to appropriate authorities where permitted or required.
8. No Refunds, Chargebacks, and Dispute Handling
8.1 No Refunds
Unless required by law, Contributions are final and non-refundable.
8.2 Chargebacks and Abuse
Chargeback abuse may result in account suspension, ecosystem bans, denial of future access, collections actions, and legal enforcement where permitted.

Violations may result in campaign removal, payout holds, termination of access, ecosystem-wide bans, and legal enforcement.
